My name is Ariana and I am the designer & creator of Summer Love Jewelry. I live on the West Coast of Puerto Rico with my husband, Rob, and our daughter, Lila.

In a world of fast-fashion, I strive to create authentic and beautiful jewelry made with love, intention, & attention to detail.

I design & make everything in my studio & showroom in Rincón, Puerto Rico. Many of the gems I use in my creations are cut & shaped by me.

I strive to create quality pieces that will last when cared for & that you can feel good about wearing.

My pieces start with sea gems & gemstones that are sourced ethically, sustainably, & locally when possible. I seek out silver & gold materials made with recycled metals. My packaging is minimal & low waste.

I believe it’s important to give back & I strive to make a positive impact in our community and our world.

Some of the ways I do that are by donating proceeds of sales to different charities and non profits and by working with local organizations that are working to make positive changes in Puerto Rico.

Before starting Summer Love Jewelry, I was as a high school Spanish teacher in Austin, Texas for 6 years. In 2011 my husband and I moved to Puerto Rico, where my family is from & where I used to spend my childhood summers.

Being a teacher was meaningful work for me & a way to give back to society & the greater good. Running a creative business has completely changed my day to day, but with it I have shifted the ways in which I give back.

Below are the organizations I have worked directly with or supported through the sale of my jewelry:

Equal Justice Initiative
Puerto Rico Rise Up
Defensa Animal de Rincón
Mentes Puertorriqueñas en Acción
Rayito de EsperanzaBrigada Solidaria del Oeste
